It is time to enter the blogosphere. At least that’s what has been suggested by my son, Adam.
So, never wanting to disappoint, here I am.
A few years ago, I began researching my family tree, and became obsessed with it. I love how “alive” all my ancestors become as I uncover facts about their lives, and I hope that at least one of my great-grandchildren will feel the same itch to know where they came from.
But, I want to leave them more than just dates and facts. I want them to know what it was like to live in my era, and how I saw and responded to my world.
Long before I gathered the first fact of the family tree, I was writing a journal. So, to begin with, I’ll post some of my journal entries and see if they stimulate any interest out there in the wider world.
I used to think that I was unique, but as I grow older, I have come to know that everyone feels that way.
Maybe my story will provide interest just because what I verbalize is not unique, but representative of my generation.
